Doug Llewellyn is CEO of the newly formed data and information services company, Data Society Group. A seasoned leader in the business information space with a track record of business value creation and investor ROI, Doug has teamed up with Growth Catalyst partners to build a new platform to advance data leadership and develop data-empowered organizations. Through his people-first approach to driving results, Doug has led several companies to a successful exit over the last decade, one in which the markets were in significant turmoil. By creating a company culture where employees genuinely buy into the mission of the business, he creates alignment between employees, customers, and investors.

Molly Baab is an experienced product and operational leader. She thrives in growth stage businesses where she focuses on empowering teams to innovate, building iterative processes that empower scale, and balancing long term vision with near term business gains. Previously she was Chief Product and Operations Officer of business.com, a digital content service which helps small and growing companies to buy the products they need for their growing operations. Earlier she served as a product leader at companies across a variety of digital industries, including the consumer division of Purch, a multinational media company with teams in the US, UK, and Europe, and Rue La La, an ecommerce fashion site. Molly also launched the first two ecommerce businesses for TripAdvisor. She lives near Boston, Massachusetts with her husband and daughter.

Founding The Data Lodge in 2019, Valerie is as committed to data literacy as it gets. With train-the-trainer bootcamps, and a peer community, she’s certifying the world’s first Data Literacy Program Leads. Previously, Valerie was a Gartner Research VP in the CDO team where she pioneered the Data Literacy research and was awarded Gartner’s Top Thought Leadership Award (2018). Valerie has more than 28 years of experience in consulting leadership and telecommunications. Valerie holds a B.S. in Math (SUNY College, Buffalo) and an M.S. in Applied Math (New Mexico State). She lives between the Adirondacks in Upstate NY, and Sarasota, Florida with her husband Brian, and their yellow lab, Cooper, who also serves as the beloved Lodge mascot.

Roy is a data and engineering leader who loves building things that solve hard problems. Although happiest architecting data solutions, Roy is diverse from both a skills and industry standpoint, having built digital platforms including central data warehouses for Fortune 100 companies, one of the leading US B2B marketplaces and lead generation engines, and ML/AI services that power the predictive in-game probabilities that many sports enthusiasts see each day. A veteran of startup culture, Roy is excited to empower the next generation of data practitioners to excel in the coming data and AI age.

Merav Yuravlivker is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Data Society. She built her career at educational institutions that include Teach for America, Kaplan, and the International Baccalaureate Organization. Since 2014, Merav and her company have helped organizations save millions of dollars by incorporating data analytics skills and best practices that equip workforces to achieve their goals and expand their impact. Under her leadership, Data Society has been listed as one of Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies for the past three years and was awarded Fast Company’s 2023 Best Workplace for Innovators in Education. Merav was also named a top leader in Washington Business Journal’s 2022 40 Under 40 list, an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2021 Mid-Atlantic Award finalist, and is part of the Forbes Tech Council and National Small Business Association Leadership Council.

Steve Wanamaker, founder and publisher of CDO Magazine, is a seasoned media entrepreneur, known for successfully launching and selling two companies. Gannett, a leading Fortune 500 media company, acquired his first publication in 2004. CDO Magazine, his second venture, was acquired by the private equity firm Growth Catalyst Partners in 2023, boasting a global readership of 400,000 across 184 countries and recognized among America’s fastest-growing privately held companies. He currently serves on the boards of UC Health Foundation and FC Cincinnati Foundation (Major League Soccer) and previously co-directed MIT CDOIQ at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Wanamaker, a U.S. Army veteran and former captain, is happily married for over 25 years with three children.

Dmitri Adler is the Chief Revenue Officer of Data Society Group. He has deep expertise in building predictive models and algorithms for forecasting macroeconomic conditions, healthcare outcomes, trade flows, and business performance for a variety of government and private sector clients. Dmitri co-founded Data Society, assembling a talented team of experienced data scientists, professors, and educational designers and overseeing the design and development of a comprehensive data skills curriculum. Prior to starting Data Society, he advised the U.S. Treasury Department on the structure of the mortgage market after the financial crises while he was at J.P. Morgan, and developed expertise in applying machine learning to financial modeling and investing. Dmitri’s data and AI expertise helps him powerfully convey the impacts and effectiveness of integrating data capabilities into organizations.
